Riverdale Country School (RCS) is a co-educational, independent, college-preparatory day school in New York City servicing grades Pre-K through 12. The school is known for its unique campus experience through its two campuses, covering more than 27 acres including the Lower School’s “River Campus” and the Middle and Upper School’s “Hill Campus.”
The Stone House Group (SHG) began working with RCS in 2005 by conducting a Facilities Condition Assessment and Facilities Overview Assessment for the campus. SHG performed a second FCA in 2014 to update the school’s list of deferred and cycled maintenance projects. SHG has provided energy management services and commissioning for multiple projects. SHG maintains energy and inventory databases and annually submits reports to NYC local laws for energy benchmarking. We support the school’s development of energy and sustainability projects that support the school’s compliance with the Climate Mobilization Act.
