Rob is a founder, Principal, and Chief Financial Officer of The Stone House Group, bringing years of expertise in budgeting and financial planning, along with operational and capital perspectives on faculties management. Additionally, Rob has provided financial, budgetary, facilities, and operations management and oversight services for many of our clients. He develops financial funding sources, tracks expenditures, and reports capital program statuses to institutions’ Chief Financial Officers and Boards of Trustees. Additionally, Rob has assisted in the issuance of over $100 million in tax-exempt bond funds for capital projects. He has also coordinated damage assessment, recovery, and insurance negotiations with FEMA after major natural disasters.

In addition to his role as the Stone House Group CFO, Rob serves as the Assistant Director of Facilities for Budgets at Gettysburg College. He has provided oversight and monitoring of the implementation of the College’s last several Long Range Campus Plans totaling over $200 Million in capital expenditures. Additionally, he served as the College’s interim budget director. Rob worked with both Gettysburg and Dickinson Colleges to develop a facilities benchmarking report that was presented at EACUBO.  He also provides budget development and financial management of facilities resources, master planning, deferred maintenance studies, and facilities overview assessments for several educational and not-for-profit institutions. One of the studies that Rob led was for his local school district of Downingtown PA, where a need of over $48 Million was identified spread across the over 1.6 Million square feet of space.  In addition to helping to identify the need, Rob worked to show how the district’s fund balances could be utilized to help plan for addressing these needs.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
